Blarney Stew

Blarney Stew

Blarney Stew is based in the New York Tri-State area. Comprised of thoughtful and skilled musicians, Blarney Stew presents a varied program of music featuring bawdy Irish pub songs, Traditional Celtic instrumentals as well as some country and bluegrass influenced tunes.

The instrumentation is pure acoustic and features:

  • Ken Harten on vocals, fiddle & electric guitar
  • Perry Paletta on mandolin, & electric guitar
  • Bill Reiner on lead vocals and lead guitar
  • Rob Simpson on stand-up & electric bass
  • Pete Dunphy on drums, percussion and vocals

The group's musical pursuits have brought them to many local and long distance area clubs, pubs and private events. Besides rocking out, Blarney Stew takes great pride in volunteering to perform at many charitable functions, rehab facilities and nursing homes. Here is just a sample of the band's repertoire:
