Third Annual Rockland-Bergen Music Festival Set For June 25-26

Twenty two artists on two stages in support of 15 not-for-profit organizations will converge at the German-Masonic Fairgrounds in Tappan for the annual Rockland-Bergen Music Festival, featuring Southside Johny and the Asbury Jukes, Jorma Kaukonen, Willie Nile, Joe D'Urso and Stone Caravan, Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers, Bob Dorough's Schoolhouse Rock and many more. Joe D'Urso is the producer and says his vision of the event combines great music and important causes.

In support of the evevnt there will also be musicians at the Turning Point, Piermont, the 76 House, Tappan, Holiday Inn, Orangeburg and the Time Nyack Hotel. Among the organizations in the "Active Circle of Hope" at the festival are Light of Day, Why Hunger, People To People, Dan Sullivan Foundation, ARC of Rockland, Habitat For Humanity, Homes For Heroes, Camp Venture, March of Dimes, Penguin Plunge, Volunteer Counseling Services, Shelter Our Pets, Meals On Wheels, Love Hope and Strength and South Orangetown Ambulance Corps.

Earlybird tickets are now on sale at www.rocklandmusicfestival.com. Anyone born in the calendar year of 1966 will be allowed free entrance in celebration of their 50th birthday.
